A splendid gathering was held at the Holiday Inn, Ipswich on 7th June and was very well attended.

The Circle Meeting preceded dinner and was attended by 20 Brothers, 2 Brothers from Cambridge Circle and we were privileged to be joined by 6 members of the Ipswich Council of The Knights of St. Columba and Dean Michael Vipond.

Following the meeting the Brothers and their guests re-joined their Lady Guests and 53 sat down for dinner. The gathered company were entertained by several witty and interesting speakers.

During the evening Brother Mikael Rust (President 2006-2007) together with Brother Gerry Elliott (Membership Officer) and Brother Ron Woolgar (Press & Publicity Officer) were presented with the Terry McGrath trophy. This trophy is awarded to the Circle which is most succesful at increasing membership during any one year.
